Hi, my name is Paul Mellick and I have the honour and privilege of leading God’s people at The Grace Place Church.

The church was founded in 2015 on 1 Corinthians 3: 10 – 11 (KJV)

“According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.  For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ”

Jesus declared that He would build His church and the gates of hell would not prevail against it (Matthew 16: 18).  This church is about Jesus and Jesus alone.  As the Apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians 15:10 – “But by the grace of God, I am what I am“.  We rely on the grace of God to minister His Word as the Spirit leads and guides us into all truth.

There is a strong emphasis on teaching the Word of God to empower people to live in their authority as believers.  The key is ‘right believing’ and that is why the Word of God (The Bible) is the basis for all truth and necessary for the ‘safe’ and ‘continuing‘ growth of Christians.

The Grace Place Church is not about the exploits of men.  It is about the finished works of Jesus Christ at Calvary’s cross. We don’t ‘perform‘ for God, we ‘rest‘ in what grace has made available to us through faith.

The Grace Place is a ‘safe place’ where Jesus will always be Lord.
